f(x)’s Amber beats other G8 members

f(x)’s Amber has become the smartest member of Invincible Youth 2.

In the episode of Invincible Youth 2 that aired on March 3, G8 members (SNSD’s Sunny, Hyoyeon, Miss A’s Suzy, SISTAR’s Bora, f(x)’s Amber, Rainbow’s Woori, Jewelry’s Ye Won, and KARA’s Kang Jiyoung) took a test to evaluate their basic academic abilities.

The test was at an elementary level, and total twenty questions were given with five points for each. The member who got the best score was Amber, and she was followed by Sunny, Ye Won, Bora, and Woori.

This is because Amber got 30 more points than other members, considering the fact that she’s a foreigner.

When her name was called as a winner, Amber shouted with joy and danced along f(x)’s “Pinocchio.”

As Amber finished her dance and tried to go and seat next to Jiyoung, Suzy, and Hyoyeon, the bottom three, Woori said, “Amber, come here. That’s not where you’re supposed to be,” to tease them.

MBLAQ’s Thunder apologizes for messing up Wonder Girls’ “Be My Baby” dance

MBLAQ‘s Thunder apologized to the audience for messing up the dance to the Wonder Girls‘ hit song, “Be My Baby“.

On the March 4th broadcast of SBS TV’s ‘1000 Song Challenge,’ rhythmic gymnast Shin Soo Ji paired up with model/actress Lee Sun Jin to sing the Wonder Girls’ “Be My Baby”.

After the two ladies finished the song, MC Lee Hwi Jae suddenly said, “Hold on a second. I saw something,” and pulled MBLAQ’s Thunder on stage. Lee Hwi Jae then said that Thunder’s dance looked weird, and asked him to do it again. Thunder obliged, and danced to “Be My Baby” with a confused look on his face.

What happened was that Thunder messed up the part where the girls make a round shape with their hands and sweep it across the side of their bodies, near their hips. Instead of sweeping his hands in a circular motion to the side of his body, Thunder gathered his hands in front of his body. When the guests started laughing, Thunder looked even more confused as he asked, “Isn’t this how the dance goes?”

When all the guests commented that his version of the dance was weird, Thunder eventually apologized to the audience for messing up the dance. MC Lee Hwi Jae wrapped up the situation by defending him, saying, “Just because he’s and idol doesn’t mean he’s good at all dances“.

Isn’t Thunder adorable?

MBLAQ's Lee Joon Does Sword Play for "Run" Performances

MBLAQ's Lee Joon is drawing attention for his powerful "Sword Dance" performance. MBLAQ started performing "Run" since March 1 and have been at the center of attention with their new dance performance. The performances of "Run" have been one of the most searched live performance of the week.

"Run" features previously not seen choreography in K-Pop before. MBLAQ's five members and dancers showcase a special performance that resembles a well-choreographed action scene from a movie. They have an "Alter-Ego Appearance Dance" where dancers disappear and reappear behind each of the five MBALQ members, and Lee Joon's "Sword Dance."

Netizens commented, "The song, the concept, the dance! Everything is a new paradigm," "Lee Joon, the dancing man is beautiful," "Is that Lee Joon flying across the stage?" and "Only MBLAQ can perform something like this."

Perviously on MBC "Radio Star," Lee Joon proudly stated that he is the member in charge of making an impact on stage. He said, "I'm the one everybody remembers even after a 3-second-long glimpse." Lee Joon proves that he surely is the one making the biggest impression on stage with "Run"s performance.

Lee Juoo's appearance on "Radio Star" also showed his potential as a variety show entertainer. MBLAQ's agency J.Tune Camp commented, "Since 'Radio Star' aired, we have been getting so many offers to appear on another variety show. We get four or five times the phone calls we used to. Honestly, we were a little worried that Lee Jun's innocent and unvarnished side might be mistaken as thoughtless and eclectic. However, the public as well as showbiz industry officials seem to like what they saw on the show. We are very grateful for it."

MBLAQ will release another mini album "BLAQ%ver." which is an upgraded version of their fourth mini album "100%ver." Following the release of "BLAQ%ver," MBLAQ will begin their long-anticipated Asian tour and focus on their career as singers and artists internationally and domestically.
